Pro Tapes DuvePro Backdrop Tape is a self-adhesive repair tape specially developed for the rapid repair of damage to theatre curtains, moltond cloth, Duvetyne fabrics and other stage fabrics. Thanks to its matt black polyester felt, the tape is barely visible against dark backgrounds, allowing repairs to be carried out discreetly without distracting reflections.
The tape features a strong, permanent acrylic adhesive layer and an easily removable liner, allowing you to repair damage quickly, even during productions, events or performances. Small tears, holes and loose seams are immediately stabilised, preventing further damage to valuable theatre fabrics.
Also suitable for light blocking and set construction
In addition to repair work, DuvePro is widely used to cover reflective surfaces on stages, film sets and in television productions. The non-reflective finish prevents unwanted light reflections and hotspots in the image. Furthermore, the tape is easy to cut to size and adheres to various materials such as fabric, metal, glass and plastic.
Thanks to its flexible construction, the tape moves with the fabric without coming loose easily. Furthermore, DuvePro is compatible with Velcro® systems and can be used for temporary backdrops, light blocking and various set design solutions.
