Scotch® Super 88 Vinyl insulating tape is a high-quality, weather-resistant PVC insulating tape. This electrical tape combines an elastic backing and an aggressive adhesive to provide moisture-proof electrical and mechanical protection with minimal bulk.

This UL-, CSA- and VDE-approved tape combines an elastic backing and an aggressive adhesive to provide moisture-proof electrical and mechanical protection with minimum bulk. Designed for continuous performance in ambient temperatures up to 105 °C. The tape is deformable and suitable for cold weather applications down to -18 °C. The tape offers excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalis, acids, corrosion and various weather conditions, including UV radiation. It also provides consistent electrical strength even when wet and inhibits corrosion of electrical conductors.
