TD47 Products Shrink Tubing Transparent often used when labelling cables, after which a transparent shrink is placed over the label to protect it. This transparent heatshrink tubing from TD47 Products falls into the H-5 class, which means that there is adhesive on the inside of the tubing. The natural rubber adhesive results in a crystal-clear result after shrinking the cable.
TD47 Products' heatshrink tubing is UV-resistant. In addition, they can be processed at temperatures ranging from -55°C degrees Celsius to +125°C degrees Celsius.

This size TD47 heatshrink tubing is ideal for pre-assembled XLR cables. With its shrink ratio of 4:1, its 24 mm unshrunk size fits over XLR plugs, allowing you to apply company stickers or a length size colour indication to pre-assembled XLR cables from the factory!
Of course, this also allows you to apply a shrink sleeve to the sticker on the XLR plug.
By heating the heatshrink tubing with a hot-air gun or hairdryer, the tubing shrinks. This happens when a temperature of +70°C is reached, at +110°C you have reached full shrinkage.
When shrinking the heat shrink tubing, it is best to blow the hair dryer or hot air gun gently back and forth. So that no unevenness or black spots appear in the shrink tubing.
