The TD47 Products Transparent Heat-Shrink Sleeve is ideal for the professional labelling and protection of cables and wiring. First place a label on the cable and then slide the transparent heat-shrink sleeve over it. Once shrunk, the sleeve forms a sturdy, crystal-clear protective layer around the label.
The transparent heat-shrink tubing is classified as Class H-1 and features a glue-free inner surface. This ensures that the result remains beautifully clear and easily legible after shrinking.
The TD47 Transparent Heat-Shrink Tubing is UV-resistant and suitable for use at temperatures ranging from -55 °C to +105 °C. This makes it ideal for a wide range of applications, both professional and in the workshop.
The heat-shrink tubing is supplied in a handy dispenser box, allowing you to quickly and easily unroll and cut the required length.
For extra organisation on your workbench or in your van, a separate dispenser rack for 6 boxes is also available.
Heat-shrink tubing shrinks when heated, for example with a heat gun. Shrinkage begins at around 70 °C. Full shrinkage is achieved at approximately 100 °C.
Heat the heat-shrink tubing gently and evenly by moving the heat gun back and forth continuously. This prevents localised overheating, unevenness or dark patches in the heat-shrink tubing.
Tip: heat the sleeve gradually until it fits snugly around the cable. This will give you the best and most even result.
